Ecobee

Ecobee launched the first ever SMART thermostat in 2007 and has been making advancements to this thermostat technology every year since. These SMART thermostats can learn your heating and cooling schedule, operate based on occupancy, alert you of equipment breakdowns, and are Alexa-enabled. Each device even comes with a “little bee” that uses temperature averaging to operate the system and bring comfort where the thermostat can’t reach. Honeywell T Series Programmable Thermostats

The Honeywell Pro Series has a small compact design and offers a whole line of thermostats to meet every heating and cooling need. Since the Honeywell T Series thermostats all share the same wall plate base, it’s easy to upgrade any of the T Series thermostat to a Smart T6 Pro with wifi capabilities. Air Cleaners: Most homes have a 1” filter with a MERV 8 rating, which is the recommended rating for air filters. If you want to improve your home’s filtration system, you can upgrade it to a Healthy Climate Cabinet or a Carrier Infinity Filtration System. With ratings as high as MERV 16, these products filter airborne contaminants more effectively. These advanced filtration systems also reduce the monthly maintenance required for your filter, requiring unit replacements every six to 12 months.

Humidifiers: If you live north of the Mason-Dixon line, your HVAC system needs humidity in the winter. We help Chicago residents with this by installing Aprilaire whole-home humidifiers, which are controlled by a humidistat. The unit requires annual maintenance and changing of the water panel.
